Painted on the remarkably ugly safety barriers which run both sides of the pavement on Trent Bridge.

The barriers are a sad reflection on our current society’s need for safety. They make the road smaller and the pavements into a restricted walkway. Unsurprising that the barriers become a canvas for visual protest.
