Nuthatch

This white breasted nuthatch has been visiting on a regular basis but he doesn't often sit still long enough for a photo. This morning he was undisturbed for several minutes. He doesn't like sharing with the chickadees.

A sunny but cool day. As long as you were out of the wind and in a sunny spot it was nice.

After brunch today I went for a walk at the Frog Pond in Halifax. Still some fall color there but not much of it left. I had a meeting with a customer scheduled for that area too this afternoon. We will prep the bed this fall and plant in the spring.

Cape Breton Highlands, where I was 3 weeks ago, has a snowfall warning out for tonight into Monday morning. There is 25 cm of snow forecast.
