street. I got lots of things done today. It's time to wait and see what comes next. 

It's the time of year when Halloween coexists with the winter festival. I prefer Halloween. I don't hate the winter festival but it has got out of hand. Too much consumption and pressure on people to spend money they don't have in an attempt to please people they don't like. I like trees, lights, baking, advent calendars, Glühwein. The rest I'm not bothered about. I don't need presents or traditional food.  Growing up I had a parent who often had to work. It felt like a normal day, I never felt that I missed out but I can see that it must have been hard to be the person who worked through it.
