Sunday: Social Club

Oh my word, there were several of us who wondered whether we would ever get through the day.

The family has all been together this weekend for yesterday’s wedding.  Before some of us head off in different directions again we met up at Cullercoats Social Club this afternoon.  The Newcastle -Chelsea match was on in the downstairs bar so some watched that and then we all reconvened upstairs afterwards.

I caused some amusement by falling asleep in my chair for about 5 minutes or so.  In fairness, so did K later on so we’re firmly blaming delayed jet lag.

The easiest thing was Chinese takeaway which we picked up on the way back.  It’s been an excellent weekend.

And I do love a bit of Social Club decor.
