In Exeter today & a walk along the River Exe & the old canal - managed to find a clear part of the river banks *without* a fisherman & was delighted by these banded demoiselles, I think this is a female one, although she could be a beautiful demoiselle too... there's only two in this country, apart from the males - one with banded wings & one considerably greener, it's hard to tell the females apart. It was an incredibly hot day, knackered by the time we got back to the car at 6:15pm!

And as there was no garden day, here's something else on the River Exe:

Swan alone

Shopping, walk, home, sorting out 300+ photos. No storm, so no rain, just overcast, close & extremely humid. Really really need a storm, I'm so envious over the ones who have had one! I love a good bit of thunder & lightning... :) xxx
