Musing of a Lady

Sunrise

A day of relaxation at home. Little Man has his half term holiday this week. So we didn't have to go anywhere today. The weather has been very unpredictable, which was another reason we stayed home. I've had the wood stove on for most of the day, to ensure that the house stays warm.

I was able to get some laundry done, which is now hanging up in the lounge. The bathroom has more space for the laundry racks but due to the lack of decent ventilation, it takes too long to dry. I also finished Little Man's beanie, which I've been working on over the summer (see the extra photo ).
Due to my desire to discourage unexpected visitors, I've left the curtains closed. The lounge looks out on the road and we have a lot of people from the church living in the area. I don't mind people popping in to check on us, it can be hard to find time to introvert when I don't know if people who are passing will see me in the lounge and knock on the door.

The joys of the changing seasons and the shortening days is that I don't need to drag myself out of bed at an unreasonable hour to see the sunrise. I popped out for a smoke this morning, and saw the sunrise. I had to take a photo.
