Autumn

A very autumn feeling day today, dark and wet. I spotted this leaf on my way home from the library. The shops are full of Halloween things including pumpkins looking rather the worse for wear, I took some photos but opted for the leaf which it seems is from a maple tree.
The book I took back to the library was ‘the story of a heart’ by Rachel Clarke who is a palliative care doctor. I think it’s one of the best books I’ve ever read . Heartbreakingly sad but somehow very inspirational. I highly recommend it.
