Cicada made in Provence

This little creature, and several millions of her brothers and sisters are responsible for the sound of summer in Southern France, it's officially summer when the cicadas start singing.
When I moved to the US, I realized that over there, the cicadas summer song is different, and today I met someone who told me that the cicadas sound different in Portugal. We laughed about it, coming to the conclusion that cicadas must have different accents in different parts of the world.
