Back blip

Back on the back blip cycle again because of having friends to stay and enjoying being with them and getting ready for them staying with us.

Ann and Suzie were out and about all day after breakfast and Bb and I worked at home.

At night we all had tapas at the lovely traditional La Bodegueta on Rambla de Catalunya, before going to Casa Batlló for a sunset visit. Bb and I both love Casa Batlló and although we still enjoyed tonight, thought that we preferred it in the daytime with the light and what that does with the stained glass. Also, the patio was closed for repair (which we knew about before) but it’s always lovely. On previous visits I’ve loved the stained glass, curves (not a straight line in sight!), all the beautiful windows and traditional fittings and the terrace. I’m not saying we didn’t enjoy it tonight, but am glad it wasn’t our first visit.
