From the back door

It’s been very grey today, and all morning it felt like we were in a cloud, but brambles got cut, and as it was about to get dark I went outside to take this photo. 
The people in the house you can see, keep goats, and they were bleating this evening!  In other news, the bird died, as we thought it would. I hope it wasn’t bird flu, but the signs and symptoms match.
I haven’t told the chickens.
