Trying to decide what to read next. She went for The Travelling Cat Chronicles in the end, which should keep her busy for. a while.

I returned home today after my weekend in Southport and the trains performed as they often do, with me arriving at Edinburgh a bit over two hours late, with the packed train which I got onto at Wigan only going as far as Preston before giving up due to a fault. So everyone from that busy train had to get onto other busy trains. However, it could have been a whole lot worse as I waited an hour and then got a seat on the next train.

It was good as always to get home to Lexi and Alfie who gave me a welcome before being fed and going off to snooze. There's an extra of Alfie on the cat tree. Lexi gets the main blip as I think she's lagging behind Alfie a bit in the blip stakes.
