Interesting sky

On our way back from our daily wander the sky suddenly started to glow. I can’t say I have ever seen something quite as bright as this as darkness set in.

Another visit to the ophthalmologist. It transpires that they used a toric lens that is used to correct a stigmatism. It has to be fitted exactly to a specific measurement of the eye, usually done by machine and finalised by using the prescription used in spectacles before surgery.

It seems that Arnie is the first recorded case where the machine reading alone was more accurate and his case is going to be presented at an upcoming opthalmic conference.

Hopefully that’s the last of his “uniqueness” health wise but it was great to hear that everything is now how it should been a couple of weeks ago.
