Día de los Muertos - American Version

Our town hosted a Día de los Muertos festival downtown. I understood it to be in the plaza, but once there we discovered it was spread throughout the downtown streets as well. Having seen a large number of ofrendas during our days in Mexico we had never witnessed them displayed in the trunk of classic automobiles. There must have been three dozen up and down the city streets. A small sampling of which are shown here.
