To whoever it was who told me to put those green tomatoes in a brown paper bag. I have forgotten who it was, but it worked they have ripened.
I have never heard of that before but it works.

They came to collect the old car today, The garage we bought the new one from bought it, gave a reasonably good price too, it was what Paula wanted and it has saved her advertising fees and a load of messing about. It was sad to see it go, it's been a good car, no trouble with it since we bought it, (just before first lockdown) but it has a high mileage and is now over 8 years old, so time to move on. If I drove we would have kept it.

Another lovely morning for a walk  cooler later.
