Passing time

The Caledonian Sleeper rolled into London at 8am, where it sat in sidings for an hour and a quarter. I passed the time by sticking my head out of the window and taking pictures of the graffiti on the carriages around the train.

The journey down from Inverness was quite smooth and I didn't wake up much, except for all the shunting at Edinburgh when the Fort William train was added on. It's a pity that the train had to wait so long before arriving at Euston as it made me late for work. However, I got there soon enough and showered my work colleagues with impossibly sweet Scottish fayre, and some oatcakes for the more savoury palate. They went down well. It's about time I'd brought some goodies in as I tend to eat my way through any treats that anyone else leaves out.

It was lovely to be away for the weekend, and it felt like a good, long break, too. I have many photos to sort through and no doubt I'll backblip in due course. I still haven't backblipped the Cornwall weekend from over a week ago. I'm falling well behind!
