A time for everything

Sunlit leaves

Sunday
A good morning at church, followed by Bible study in which we are currently looking at the Book of Esther. Even though it was a beautiful afternoon, I decided I must stay home to get some jobs done. With having been away so much lately ( and we’ve not finished yet!), the housework is lagging behind. Roger went off to the camper storage facility to drain the camper and prepare it for winter. It got to late afternoon and I didn’t have a blip, so I went into the garden, and I took a close up of some of the leaves of our neighbours tree, which is gorgeous, except many of the leaves end up on our side of the fence! However, he did have some branches cut back earlier in the year, so maybe it won’t be quite so bad this year! Though I must say, I think the beauty is worth a bit of extra raking!
In the evening I fixed us a roast chicken dinner. I don’t often do a roast dinner over the summer months, as I just don’t feel like it when it’s really hot, but now the temperatures are cooling a bit, it’s time to start doing them again!
