Chain saw art

Lovely sunny day so got the tent hung outside to dry. Then we set off with my brother and sister-in-law to Montbrun Chateau for a coffee. It was closed. Allegedly the owner had at one time been under house arrest.

It is a big forestry area, so we stopped to see the logs being seasoned by jets of water projected onto them. We found a place for coffee and afterwards went to a grassy area where they have competitions to use chain saws to fashion a set subject from a large log. The image is of items from previous winners.
