The day was marred by attending the sad occasion of a funeral of a highly gifted friend who had spent several months living with us when she was going through a very traumatic time during her younger days.  Regrettably her talented husband is in hospital and so was unable to attend his wife’s funeral today but amongst the words spoken by the minister M was described also as one who let C shine while she herself was a shining light.  I felt as it was also almost a tribute to him and fear that his days are also numbered.  Their community and those of their many friends in northern Europe have lost two very good hosts and entertainers.
Meanwhile back home we continued having a very enjoyable time with our four visitors so I will look at blips when I have time.
