The ‘Before’

Went to IKEA last month to get a quote for new kitchen. 16,000 big ones the guy said. I gulped and said ‘don’t think so’. The kitchen is the original from house which was built in the late 80s.

So I rang my friend, who is a painter, to give me a quote to paint the kitchen cabinets, paint the tiles over (good riddance to the pineapple tiles) and put some kind of pretend adhesive stuff over the work surface (which is badly chopped and lumps out of it).

So my friend (she swims with us) is busy sanding and priming as I write and she predicts work done by Friday.

And I will blip The After when I can.
