Horns of a dilemma

Cited for jury duty at the Sherriff Court today I was in two minds about it, but when the court phoned me this morning as I had been chosen by ballot to attend they seemed only too happy, when I told them my age* and how deaf I was, to exclude me from jury service even before I could get round to telling them about all my other complaints. I was happy to be excused and have my dilemma resolved, .
