I noticed last Friday, and very definitely on Sunday, that my favourite 28-105 mm lens has developed a nasty habit of juddering when it tries to achieve focus, and that some of my images are soft (softer than usual). I bought it second hand, before lockdown I think, and it's probably reaching the end of its life. I'm very sad as I loved this lens!
I'd already decided to switch to a mirrorless camera in the new year, as I'm finding my Canon a bit heavy these days (I'm old, I'm old!) I'm going for a Fuji X-T5, but now I'll switch as soon as there's a sale on!
Meantime, I've popped a prime lens on - less versatile and I'll need to get closer to my subject, but better than out of focus images..
In other news, the Acers are shedding their leaves too fast!
