First time for everything

Arrived 7.20 and by 7.50 was through the first screening and had donned the surgical gown, packed away my street clothes and was being hooked up to the IV
Then an unexpected lengthy wait as they waited for the iv to do its thing.
Into OR and the first injection near the spine caused an "Ow!" But then this quickly settled down and then I was positioned lying down on my back and asked to roll slightly further to my left.
And that was all I remember as I woke up 1, 2, 2.5, ??  hours laterpx,and in a different room and different patient gown.
I had slept through the entire thing, it was easy.

Dinner was what I expected, the least said the better.

I've been told things will get harder tomorrow pain wise, I hope better food wise.


Ah well...
