Autumn evenings

Over the past few days, it's become quite noticeable that the nights are drawing in. I arrived at Waterloo station this evening and headed for my tai chi class. It was only 6:30, but it was definitely dusk. It feels like the end of summer has crept upon us much faster than usual.

At some point in my life, I blogged about autumn being my favourite season, "Autumn has the wonderful rustic, golden colours that work so well with a cloudless blue sky".

As I sit at my desk and look out of my window, it becomes increasingly obvious that the ideal of an autumnal "cloudless blue sky" doesn't happen very often. There is far too much grey.

Still, I liked how the photograph picks out the reds of the traffic and brake lights.
