Finally, we agreed on a date for the our software service to go live. I am pretty relieved that the work is moving forward.
After work, we walked to Wimbledon to meet M&R at Roxie Steak. They were seated when we arrived, but we ordered more wine, and a lovely evening commenced.
As the name implies, the menu is very steak-focused, with a range of steaks such as picanha, fillet, sirloin, rump, and ribeye. I'd never heard of a picanha before, but I believe it's a top-of-the-rump cut originating in Brazil (prized for its juicy marbling). I skipped it and stayed with something I knew.
The service was curt and to the point, but there were no errors, and the food was delicious. As you can see, I cleared my plate.
We ended the evening by popping into the Hand and Racquet next door for a final nightcap.
