Boathouse Lights

This quick snap shows the West-side of the Ashley Terrace Boathouse, and you may notice that the 'Christmas lights' are now up ;-)

... all in preparation for the annual 'Flotilla of Lights' event, which takes place on Saturday 9th November - some more detail available here. And the Canal Society will have its usual stalls, opposite the Boathouse (which will be lit up!), selling tea/coffee/cake & mulled-wine. We'll be ready-to-go from 4pm onwards, with the actual Flotilla of Boats  passing by around 6.30pm!

But before all of that, and if you can cope with further canal-related excitement, the Edinburgh Union Canal Society actually has its AGM this coming Sunday 3rd November, at 2pm - all the details are now up on our own website, here. There's a bar - how can you not attend :-))
