A trip to Oswestry

A Lovely trip to Oswestry this morning. We started at our favourite fabric shop Textile Express where we both bought fabric. I can't resist it. Di, who has worked there forever, immediately said, "I thought we might see you as it's getting near Christmas. What are you buying fabric for today? Christmas stockings, advent calendars, napkins, cushions"? None of the above this time. Not even curtain fabric!!
We then went to Booka, the most lovely book shop, where they do lovely lunches and good coffee. We drove back via the British Ironwork Centre an incredible outdoor Sculpture park of metal sculptures, made using only waste materials. It was absolutely full, probably 500 cars parked there, so drove in and out. Of course it is half-term this week.
