I couldn’t resist another song sparrow shot, looking so pretty amongst the autumn leaves. It will be most interesting if he and his relatives remain with us for the winter as they usually leave. I’ve been covering three pots of mums at night hoping to keep them going until November 1st, so I was a bit surprised to find the soil inside as hard as a rock!
