Autumn mists
Finally a day dry enough to get out for a walk. It rained heavily most of the night, and this was taken mid-afternoon. Moodiness achieved by shooting into the sun with a slightly grubby lens.
I've now worked my way through all the photos I took over the weekend in Girona, so if you aren't tired of castellers yet, there's an album here. There are a couple that aren't of castellers, and actually this one, grabbed quickly as we were walking back in pouring rain, is one of my favourites.
I was glad when we got back from Girona to find that the damage weight-wise was only a gain of 200 grams despite the indulgences. Must have been all the walking. I'm now back on the wagon. Lunch was a Moroccan lentil and chickpea stew, and this evening's dinner was some excellent chestnuts S bought yesterday, eaten with butter and salt by the fire.
