GLASS

The Tiny Tuesday challenge has a few themes to choose from including magic and alchemy.  Ive blipped a pair of glass earrings I bought from the Sunderland Glass Centre in 2019.

Glass is made from sand, soda ash, and limestone, which are melted together at high temperatures and then shaped and cooled .That's quite magical isn't it. The early days of glassmaking were influenced by alchemy, the precursor to chemistry and metallurgy.  Leonardo da Vinci recognized the relationship between glassmaking and alchemy noting how simple natural products were used to create something nature could not. Thanks to freespiral for hosting the challenge. It was certainly a tricky one.

I had to get up early today and wait in for an Amazon delivery.  It was alcohol so the package has to be handed to the customer in person and couldn't be left in my " safe place " as usual.  The parcel arrived at 2.30pm so I had time to walk down to the village and do some shopping - and collect two parcels.

Just relaxed when I got home and watched two episodes of The Chelsea Detective.  Im almost up to date with the series.

The weather was dry today but colder than yesterday.
