Constructing
When I see these kits in shops they always fascinate me. Lots of tiny pieces that pop out, fit together and make something with a little solar-powered motor.
In my childhood it was Airfix we turned to and broke plastic parts off the frame and glued them with the little tube of glue. Then we had to paint them.
My grandchildren have quite a few of these wooden models already but Emily had an unfinished one that we spent some time on.
In the afternoon, when we were out on a shopping trip, Rachel and Emily were willing to take me to Next to help me choose some jeans. Proper ones with buttons and zips! Silly me, getting my size wrong! "Rachel, please swap this selection for the next size up!" Thank you!. .........."Rachel, please would you take these ones away and get me a size bigger!" I did finally get a couple of pairs I liked the fit of, can't stand them baggy.
Last night we watched the first half of Malificent and tonight we watched the rest. I had trouble remembering it was a sequel to Sleeping Beauty, I kept mixing it up with Snow White.
