Over Yonder

Hello I Must Be Going

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Luke is back! I gave him a big hug and told him how much I have missed him.

I think Luke needs to be loved. I am happy to reassure him.

But it was also a goodbye, of sorts. Due to the pointless effing reshuffle at work, the Business Analyst team is no more! Oh, they still have business analysts, which is good because that's Luke, Olivia and Briar for a start. But no team in which to corral them.

They very sadly had their last ever BA meeting today. It was a good humoured affair with pizza and they invited me along because I was once part of that team.

I don't know what's going to happen to those managers. And I don't really want to know. It will make me sad.

So instead we focussed on Luke's tales of his trip around Europe with Alicia and talked about the upcoming Halloween/Blood on the Clocktower party this weekend.

I found out today that I'm likely to have my contract extended by another three months, taking me to March. It's looking hopeful.

But with all the comings and goings I can't help but feel like this is my last hurrah working somewhere I love with people I love.

Let's make it last as long as we can.

S.
