Lock-picking

Last night our cars were broken into. Very surprising being we live down a long private driveway with and electronic fence. They stole iPods, garage door opener, gate remote, money, cd's , state park passes, wallet with gift cards and my son's pager ( who passed away 12 years ago) of all thing that was the worse.
I am house and pet sitting for my brother and they took the complete set of his house keys. So I found a locksmith who didn't ask if it was my house.
I was turned down from a few because I couldn't show it was my house. I'm thankful for his lack of questions. Lucky the bird need feeding as well as the cats.
We even have a security camera which quit recording on the 21st. Bad timing.....l
