Too early

I looked up at this Pohutukawa tree and thought, 'it's too early'. I discovered that it is some sort of Hawaiian Pohutukawa and that it flowers up here at this time of the year. Usually it's a summer tree. It's really rather beautiful and it attracts all sorts of birdlife.

I had a lovely day with UW today. We went for a walk and a coffee.

Then home for a smoothie - lots of yummy fruit, and even curly kale!

Out for lunch and then a mooch around the charity shop. I bought a gross skirt which will make beautiful cushions. I'm just trying to work out if I can get one big one or two small ones out of the fabric.

Back to the house to make a start on tea and to post my blip.
