Wednesday

Lovely mild day. Usual walk with the bonus of spotting a Siskin in the Jubilee woods.

Hetty went ahead of me and into the cafe garden where she waited by the hatch. I usually order at the hatch but, as it's now cooler, the hatch is closed.

So I caught up with her and we went inside to see Jo and order an ice-cream for Hetty and a hot chocolate for me.

I got chatting to the woman on the next table for ages. We realised we were taking up two tables whilst a group of 8 were squeezed around another. Oops!

The BBC were filming apparently. All I saw was a drone but I see a drone most weeks.

This afternoon's plan is baking Halloween cupcakes and flapjacks.
