Starry starry night

Our last night out and we were on Oropedio Lassithiou / the Lassithi Plains.

We stayed at Psychro, a village up on the plain and really up, as we had to drive up to the foot of the Cave of Zeus, to get to the hotel we'd booked there for the night (DictamusHomes). Because the tourist Season is coming to an end next week; it was noticebly quiet now, we weren't the only visitors, but one of the last visitors, yes. 

I'd hoped for a dark night there on the high plain (900 meters the plain / 1200 meters us next to the cave). My tripode I'd left home in Chania, so it was a matter of looking for a wall and a dark spot, to make some photo's of the starry night there... and I'm rather pleased with the results, regarding how I took them.
