A day at the fair - 7-23-'13

Today daughter Deb went with us to the County Fair. We enjoyed ice cream at "The Purple Cow" and later had a scone. It was a perfect day. Sun with just a bit of wind so it wasn't too hot. In the evening it got a bit cool, so a sweater felt good.
Here is a sample of some of what we saw. Lots of flowers and animals and of course, rides for the "young at heart". Deb's hubby came after work so we enjoyed the displays with him, then had a yummy BarBQ chicken dinner with corn on the cob. There were many food booths to choose from, but the chicken always wins.
