Blackbird

It's been a quiet day in the home as well as the weather.  I'll be heading out to Pilates early evening, but apart from a visit to the Post Office and carving my pumpkin, it's been a day of jobs.  So what to do for a blip?  Since we lost the elder tree, we haven't had as many birds coming to the feeders, which is a great shame but still I thought I would point my camera out of the window and see if I could capture anything.  This male blackbird was busy stripping the cotoneaster of its berries.
