Time for home

It’s been lovely to see Jack at home in Milano, settled into everyday and company life, confident enough with the language to manage the functional stuff; conversation is harder but he’s only been there a total of 12 weeks, and was starting from zero!

Beautiful city, with gorgeous weather today, we turned Jack into a tourist for the day before we headed for the airport. Flight was great, A1 south was closed so we had a three hour drive home through the dark skies area of Northumberland down the A68. It’s a beautiful drive - but not at one in the morning!!
