Don't start

Had a lie in this morning after yesterday.

First up was a meeting for the start of an apprenticeship for one of my team. I'm sure they will enjoy it and it will be good for their development.

Straight after was an incredibly frustrating meeting. Why can't people just do their job and take responsibility and make decisions? That's what we pay them for!

A frustrating afternoon after that nonsense of a meeting this morning.

Had a good catch up with my young padawan later who had a 2-day team away day session. It sounded like a positive couple of days. I'm glad to hear of some positivity.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  The start of an apprenticeship for one of my team
2.  A good lunchtime power ramble
3.  A good catch up with my young padawan
