30+ years ago..

This morning I went for a swim and no one in the pool at 9am but busy by 9.30. I also saw the All Blacks getting into a coach for an ‘outing’ the receptionist told me…maybe to check out Twickenham Stadium where they are playing on Saturday.

This afternoon we collected the grandchildren who are staying overnight. We went to the local ‘rec’ for them to play football and the playground adjacent to it. This photo is of my children and two of their cousins 30+ years ago. The piece of play equipment has long gone but the conifers are still there and another one in between…they are now much taller and so you can not see the flats or houses in the distance. The trees are very sturdy and the children like climbing up inside to about 20ft! The playground is also bigger as the trees are now inside the fence.
I came across the photo earlier this week as we had it made into a jigsaw puzzle and thought the grandchildren might like to see it and do the jigsaw too as not too many pieces.
