Lighting the Way
A rather busy day at work spent looking over spread sheets and making changes to our stock profile bringing in lots of new products . This also included a 2 hour teams call on line but made it through the day.
This evening I had to get my river shot for the month which normally wouldn't be a problem but with the clocks going back it is dark when i finish work , I had thought about going 1st thing in the mornings but the last few have either been wet or grey and dull.
I decide I might be able to get a long exposure shot if I took my tripod . So I parked the car up and then walked along the footpath in the dark with only car headlights whizzing past me so a bit of a nervy walk . I managed to get set up and take a few half decent shots see extra of one then before leaving I spotted a cyclist approaching from behind so waited for them to get under the bridge and opened the shutter to create a trail as the cyclist went past and into the distance to add the perfect touch to my shot.
Blip sorted back home via the chip shop to get tea . I now have football on Man U v Leicester in the Carabao cup. Julie has to go to the hospital soon so will drop her off and then pick her back up she needs to have tetanus injection as she has a bite on her hand from Minstrel that is looking a bit like it could be getting infected hopefully she wont have to much of a wait as she has a pre-booked appointment.
