Feet fraying!
I thought to check how many steps I did in the 24 hours up to midnight yesterday. I know it was going to be over 16,000 as it was nearly that in the evening but I was surprised to find it was almost 19,000. I know why I was tired now.
I've not done many steps today. I pottered about in the morning doing only bits and bobs then settled down to lunch with the budget. No comment on it!
Not done much this afternoon either as it has been a grey day with drizzle and it doesn't motivate me to do a lot. I have been looking at other caching trips and trying to revamp the Lytham idea to be doable walking only ie arriving there by train. I am not sure it's working well.
I might plan another trip to Manchester - there are plenty more labs and other caches to go at there.
Got my follow-up ENT appointment in the post. Supposed to have one for 6 weeks after the last one to see how the 6 weeks of antibiotic treatment has worked. It's 9 weeks and a day so just over 50% late.
It's at lunch time on my Mum's 96th birthday which is a Sunday so it's inconvenient but I can't change it as don't want to wait even longer.
Terry still has not heard how his follow-up MRI was and it was done at least 3 weeks ago.
My daughter had her follow-up (regular) MRI 19th August re her tumour (acoustic neuroma) and still has no result! I hope that no news is good news.
It's not good to be left waiting so long for results though.
The resident hedgehog has disappeared and we've not seen it (or the other ones that come) for more than a week. I hope they are still alive. The squirrels are still coming and digging holes!
Our magnolia still has an abundance of green leaves which don't look like they will fall for a while and there are a number of things coming up in the garden that shouldn't be showing till spring.
