My blip is another look back at our recent time in Switzerland.  Can't let it go....

From our hotel window we had a fantastic panorama of snow clad mountain peaks, verdant pastures, chalet style houses so typical of these alpine regions and this amazing railway which snaked up the side of the valley to the Kleine Scheidegg station.

It is very steep and I  was worried  marvelled at how it managed the gradient. But it is brilliant and reliable Swiss engineering and completely safe.

It was fascinating to observe from a distance this tiny train making it's way up to a mountain station thousands of feet above sea level. It looked like a model railway.
