Upcoming road closure

This sign is in front of our house in the grass. I suspect it's for Halloween and keeping trick-or-treaters safe, but I haven't seen any news about road closures, so I have no idea.

Tomorrow I should try to get a photo of trick-or-treaters, though I don't know if there will be many. We didn't get any candy since our house is missing a railing on the steps, and I don't want anyone to get hurt.
