The C word...

It is not yet Halloween but, as is tradition, I've made a start on the Ch******s cake during Half Term.  Violet helped me to soak the fruit in brandy and tomorrow or the next day I'll bake the cake.
In other news: Rachel Reeves delivered her budget today.  The object of fear and despair by many, in that regard it did not disappoint!
