Vandalism

Not a nice sight on my little wander this morning, as the 14th century church at bowers gifford, St Margaret's church, was having to have repairs done as a couple of nights ago there was a lot of damage done to the roof tiles and other outside areas.  had a chat with some of those there fixing it and seems the police aren't too interested either and unfortunately there's no cameras of the yobbos damaging it.  I really despair with the attitude of some people nowadays - I'm hoping karma catches up with them very soon!

And it was an eerily quiet nature reserve today, despite hundreds of geese being there!  A Bittern had been spotted there recently, but I saw no sign, but I did get to hear 2 Water Rail and wasted time staring into the reeds hoping 1 would appear - they didn't!! They're probably out there now showing off now I'm back home!  So I had to be happy just spotting robins, sheep, magpies and herons!
