As good as new

When I fell down the stairs a month ago I broke one of the spindles on the banister. Today my fantastic handyman came a fixed it. He is such a clever carpenter. Although it was overcast again it was a bit brighter than yesterday and very mild so, after having my hair cut, I spent the afternoon in the garden. Planted the last of my tulip bulbs and emptied the remaining tubs containing spent bedding plants. Lots of leaves to sweep up as well.
