Scary nephew!

I shrieked in fright tonight when Paddy donned this mask. I hope that he doesn't frighten the folk on the streets of Edinburgh when he and Caitlin join their running group this evening. No doubt we will find out later when they return for their showers and supper. (Their bathroom is still out of commission.)

At last today I have managed to complete my blog post on our trip to the Girton College archives in Cambridge on 21st August. I have included photographs of the most interesting records that we accessed, including a letter written in early 1935 from the College to Lorna Lloyd's's mother Topsie about her daughter's health. It would appear that Lorna was already showing symptoms of her illness when a student. The post can be found on my blog at http://hazelhall.org.

The rest of the day has passed in a whirl of domestic duties: dealing with several loads of washing; hanging out/bringing in laundry on/from the line; writing the shopping list and visiting the supermarkets; and looking after Mummy hazelh.

For those interested in the auction item from Tuesday, a good price was agreed this afternoon :-)

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; small amount of walking (6,983 steps).
