Evening Cockie

Kids had an athletics carnival at school today. Miss 7 told me all about her high-jumping and long-jumping, and shot-putting, and running. She seemed quite pleased with it and with herself. Mstr 6 and the other littler kids had only a mini one, with hopping, and walking like a bear, and suchlike. He said he enjoyed it and did well though.

As I was coming home the setting sun was making things golden - including the west-facing parts of this cockatoo. So snappity-snap went my camera. 8)
