Faces

There will be plenty of similar blips today. This really isn't my scene but Fiona likes to do this and give the children a little treat. 
We have a very sensible arrangement in the village: almost all children are accompanied by their parent/s and only call on houses where it is obvious they will be welcomed. Without exception all the children who called on us were very polite. It was a delight to see some of them. 
I was otherwise engaged with seeing my car on to the rescue truck after the clutch failed on the drive. My garage is busy so it's going to be a week or two before it's back. We are away next week and most of the following in the van so it's come at quite a convenient time.
